Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping at Safeguard Evac. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, this policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds.

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Law)

As a consumer based in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods — no reason needed.

Conditions:

  • The 14-day period starts from the day after you receive your order.
  • You must notify us within this period via email at info@safeguardevac.com.
  • After notifying us, you have another 14 days to return the item.

2. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
  • You must include proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice).
  • Certain products (e.g., sealed hygiene or safety items) cannot be returned once opened.

3. Return Shipping

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • If approved, we’ll refund the full item amount (excluding original shipping) via your original payment method.
  • You’ll receive confirmation once the refund has been processed.
  • Refunds may take up to 7 working days to appear, depending on your bank/payment provider.

5. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Items that are used or damaged after delivery
  • Products that have been unsealed and are no longer hygienic
  • Custom-made or personalized products
  • Gift cards or promotional codes

6. Exchanges

Need a different size or product? Contact us at info@safeguardevac.com within 14 days of receiving your order, and we’ll assist you with the exchange process.

Important Notes

  • If the return is due to an error on our part (damaged, defective, wrong item), we’ll cover return shipping and offer a full refund or replacement.
  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights under EU or Dutch consumer protection laws.
